Merry Christmas Eve!

Hey guys! I havent written alot this week cause nothing has happened. Ive been pretty bored out of my mind. My parents have gone to visit relatives 3 days this week, leaving me at home to entertain myself. All ive done is read and work out. Not too thrilling. We did go see Christmas with the kranks yesterday though. That was fun. It was a cute movie. Im waiting on Santa to come tonight! YAY! Haha. I think were gonna drive around and look at lights tonight. 24 hours of a Christmas Story starts tonight at 8! YEAH!

It snowed yesterday! YEAH! Well it snowed mostly while we were at the gym and when we got home, it had covered some of the ground! I couldnt believe it! I think we got more cause we live farther north in the state. It was sitting in a little pile on my dad's truck and u could see it all building up on the ground. I was so excited! If it had snowed more it definately would have stayed. Its so cold outside! 16 degrees!

Well thats great, i was all excited about my entry and then i found out i made a 51 on my precal exam. Great. And i thought i actually did good on it. Haha.

Well anyway i made a 94 on my art exam. Still not sure about AP English. Well let's see today was a day of gifts. I got so much stuff lol. Meenal got me a pair of gloves and scarf set and a wallet with a poodle on it. It was so cute. Honestly i have so many wallets i dont know what to do with now. I bought a new one for myself cause i had been using the same one for so long. So then i got this one, I bought an Alice and Wonderland yesterday and then Mackenzie walked over to my car today and said she found this in nashville and thought i'd like it and it was a wallet that said I heart Elvis on it! I freaked out! I loved it! I felt bad though b/c we were doing gifts, but i guess this pays me back for when i got her that lucy calendar when her grandfather died last year. But anyway Jillian gave me a LOTR 500 piece puzzle! YEAH! Umm..Lindley got me a bar of B&B coconut lime soap and a notepad thats real cute. I think thats about it.

From looking at my stuff, gov. is gonna be death tomorrow. Physics too. I started studying for gov. yesterday though so it wouldnt be such a shock. I'll be so happy when exams are over. I dont remember having to study this much. I studied for 2 hours straight today for gov. So many terms. But i have to remember these will be my last exams except for precal. I know i'll have to take that again unless a miracle happens.

Megan's party is tomorrow. Were gonna freeze to death.

Well I took my AP English and contemporary issues exams today. I just found out I made a 86 on Cont Issues and a 97 on Bible. I am so not happy about Cont Issues. I knew every country and capital of every country we studied and she put crap on there she swears she told us. Telling us and putting it on a test are 2 different things. I didnt know so many of the questions. Labeling the world was easier than the questions. So now i wont have an A for the semester. Great. I think i did good on my English exam though. It was suppose to be 500 words but mine ended up being 862! HAHA! I had quotes as my examples for every point. I was happy with the question too. I also did most of the outlines this weekend and typed them Monday and it took me 4 hours to do 2 last night. I even had the ideas written down, but i had to go back and find quotes and examples to use. I worked from 3:30 to 7:30 and then i had to learn about every country in the world again! Its alright though. Thats the only AP exam i'll ever have to do. I dont know how I ever did APUSH and acc. english outlines last year. Oh yeah and they were due on the same day. Yay me.

I did get and give gifts today! I took my huge bag full of goodies. I took Jillian her Puss and Boots doll, Jem cds and Dale Earnheardt Jr. notpad i found. I gave Kimi some of the Dulce lotions from Bath and Body that smell like food and cake. I gave Ashley her bulldog wallet she wanted. She didnt see it at the cart and said i could the pug instead and when I was paying i saw the bulldog and i was like I want that one! And i got Meenal a hat, gloves, and scarf set, a bracelet and some cow slippers. Im taking Lindley's tomorrow and i got her a pink hat, scarf and glove set too. Ashley got me an Elvis umbrella!!!! YEAH! I was so excited! its black and blue with pics of him on it. Its so awesome. And Kimi gave me a 365 day calendar of Ireland! Jillian and Lindley and Meenal are bringing theres tomorrow. All i know is Jillian got me something LOTR. That rocks.

Hmm...Oh yeah i went to the mall with Ashley and we ate at CA pizza kitchen with Meenal and Jillian and her mom. Well the food was good, the sugar free peach tea was amazing, but our waiter sucked. We sat for like 30 minutes waiting for our food and then Jillian and her mom didn't get there until we were almost done, but they got there food like 10 minutes later. Let's just say we left him a 2$ tip between the 5 of us, haha. The meal was expensive enough as it is. It was like 10 or 11$ for my chicken caesar salad. The one w/o chicken was like 8$, and i should have gotten that b/c mine only had 1 piece of chicken cut up into crap size bites. And then me and Ashley went to Claires and the Icing and at the Icing they had Alice in Wonderland purses and wallets!!! AHH!!!! They have 2 alice purses at Walmart and one has her and the mad hatter and the rabbit at the tea party and the other is her with the queen of hearts in the maze. Those are only 12$. The ones at the Icing were of her and the garden flowers and Alice was all glittery and so were the flowers, but those were 18$. And the dinky wallet that matched was 12$! So i withheld myself and im gonna wait till after xmas and go back and see if its on sale, cause im sure it will be and if not, i'll buy it anyway lol. But we did go to Claires and they had disney stuff 1/2 off and they had a Cheshur cat wallet for 5$! So i bought that. I cant wait for Disney! Im gonna find everything Alice and Wonderland. I wanna buy the book too, i know it was a book before a movie. Mrs Hood also said Alice walks around with the Mad hatter at Disney World! WOO!

WOO! Awesome Disney news! There taking the 2 buses at the same time now! WOO! I know the sports players are happy. Its good cause i dont have to fight for the first bus now lol. I still think were leaving during school, i just dont know what time.

STATE TOMORROW!!!!! YEAH!!!!! Meenal and Ashley are riding with me. It should be fun. We get to wear tennis shoes, jeans and a bbs tshirt tomorrow to school. The football players will walk from the pre k to the gate too. Its so fun. They all look so nice in their suits and all. I cant wait!

Well im pretty sure today officially sucked ass. I had an awful day.

Well it rained it all day which made me have an awful headache. I think this has been the slowest day of my life. Every class went by so slow. Bible dragged on forever and he made us get out our Bibles and look at the verses we already read yesterday. He wanted to make sure we could SEE them. It was all about baptism and salvation which is eventually just gonna make everyone mad cause no one believes the same thing. I dont know why he teaches the same thing every year. He somehow manages to bring something like this and denominations into play. And honestly i love coach brown to death, i just dont like when he says his views ALL the time which are obviously all church of christ which isnt fair to the rest of us. When we talk about baptism tomorrow and our views, im gonna throw him a curve ball and say i dont think u need to be baptized to go to heaven.

Then the hell of english came and i thought i was going to strangle someone. Mrs Roland gets more irritating daily. I hate her little voices she uses and facial expressions and little words she loves to use. GOLL I CANNOT EXPLAIN TO U THE HATRED I HAVE TOWARDS THAT CLASS. And whats worse is even if i was going to drop it at semester, i still have to have her. And i wont drop it cause theres no point in my suffering for half a year and not at least trying the AP exam, which i will fail anyway. Plus if i drop it, its gonna look like i cant handle the "load" when the reality is that i read and do everything else before anyone and thats a fact. No one even starts or finishes the readings until a week before its due. Besides im not gonna give the people in the class that satisfaction of knowing they were "better" than me in some ways.

Well then Brittany wasnt here today,so i sat by myself in art again. We also had a fire drill so i got to stand in the cold looking stupid with all the middle schoolers around. All the girls in my class were talking with each other and i just kinda looked around.

Well it rained off and on at lunch. And when everyone was inside getting food, it started raining pretty hard so i grabbed everyone's purse and went inside looking for a table. I looked like i had been Christmas shopping i had so many purses lol. But then it stopped so we went back out.

Well then i found out that the teacher that does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING decides to give us a project thats a test grade thats due the same day as my gov. project. Thats great. Something else to do. Oh yeah and mrs hood gave us a current event, which i want to burn. I cant wait to get out of h/s just so i wont have to do those anymore. I just did one yesterday for contemporary issues! AAHHH! DIE!

Yeah well let me ask a question? When u see someone with their eyes closed/trying to sleep, u would decide to leave them alone wouldnt u? Well not Megan Gass. Im trying to rest in pre cal b/c my head hurt pretty bad and shes looking for a mirror for whatever reason. I hear her ask Megan, then she asks Lindley. So im trying to sleep and i hear, "cortney". Im thinking, wtf do u want? So i ignore her since im "sleeping", hoping she'd get the hint. Well no. Why would i think that she would understand to leave someone alone? A few minutes later i hear, Cortney (pause), Cortney (pause), Cortney (pause). CANT U SEE IM SLEEPING AND DONT WANNA TALK TO U!?!?!?! Oh im so glad shes not in my room for Disney, im glad she doesnt ride rides, im glad she cant drive her car for a while cause she cant sit in my car every morning and im especially glad im a senior so i wont have to see her EVER AGAIN AFTER MAY! PRAISE GOD!!!! THATS SUCH A BLESSING!!!!!!!

Oh yeah and heres the icing on the cake. So since my dad works at TVA, they have some scholarship for seniors to apply for. U have to write an essay at a certain place and have recommendations and good grades whatever. So i walk into english today and see Valerie with one of the scholarship packets. "hey are u taking that?" "yeah" "oh does your dad work at tva?" yeah" Well thats just dandy since she has a 4.0 and made a 30 on her act the FIRST TIME. WHY DO I EVEN TRY??????? WHY!?!?!?!?! Everyone that takes these things are brilliant! Theres not one stupid bone in their body! How can anyone normal compete with that level of smartness? I know i cant! I dont see how that can be fair. Those type of people get to go to any college and get just about any kind of scholarship they want. Why cant the common student with decent grades win something to help out their family?

Well i dont feel like typing a real long entry so i'll do some highlights.

We froze our butts off last night.

We won 38 to 13.

With 6 seconds left before half time, Drew, Matt P, Weston and someone else pulled a hook and ladder play. They tossed the ball to each other in like perfect sync and scored! BAHAHAHA! You should have seen Coalfield's faces.

Were playing DCA again, who are also blue and gold.

We scored our first touchdown of the night by an interception 1:30 min into the game.
