So yeah I definitely didn't get a chance to update while I babysat last week. Sorry guys. Not too much going on right now though other than me having no time to breathe. I will thank Jesus once this semester is over. Its so much.
Oh so the biggest thing going on right now is that I found out I can take a trip in April for 5 days to Kentucky, Pennsylvania and Washington DC and this trip takes the place of a class I have to take before I graduate! yay! We'll go to each state and do different stuff. Well apparently this trip counts for 2 classes, but i dont have to have the other one anymore. And the other class is American Architecture, which is why were going to DC and Pennsylvania has to do with the Amish. Im not sure why Kentucky though. I know PA's Amish deals with the class im going for, something about family and community. Dunno. I just know it'll be great. Lauren's gonna go too! yay!
Oh yeah and this sorority isn't pleasing me too much right now. We're gonna have to reconsider this whole thing after next semester. If its no better after im a sister, Cortney might be leaving. Boo.

Too busy to breathe
Goodness, I never thought I would want more time. Im usually the boredest person in the world, lookin for things to do. Not now. I have too many things to do. I now have my 4th family to babysit for EVERY tuesday. Yes, EVERY tuesday. Its only suppose to be from about 6:30-8:30 but still. I went this past tuesday and i felt like trash since id gone to school all day. Boo. It was a long day. But there are 2 kids for this family though lol. They played well together though and with me. So it was good. And she told me she's gonna refer me to some of her friends. Im going to die. But there moving to Nevada in December, so i wont have that family anymore cause they'll be moving obviously.
Ahh and im rushing a service sorority with Jillian. Alpha Pi Omega I think. I had to stay after my 7:30 class last night till 9 for the meeting. Boo. It was an EXTRA long day cause i despise wednesdays anyway cause im at work from 12-3 and then class 3:25-7:30. And that meeting just added to it. Ahhhh. But it should be fun. But I have to go back tonight at 8 for a 5-10 minutes interview, wearing my sunday best. Grr. I hate getting home at like 3:30 and then leaving again at 7:30. Its just a waste of gas that I dont wanna use. But yeah i've been lacking sleep this week and i decided to skip my statistics class this morning cause i havent missed it yet and he doesnt take roll. I decided to sleep in and what do u know? I woke up the same time i usually do for class. The one day I wanna sleep, i cant. Grr.
Boyd's homecoming is friday!!! YAY!

I met Fonzie!
WOO!!! I met Fonzie on saturday at the mall!!! Well his name is Henry Winkler if u didnt know, but everyone knows him as Fonzie lol.
So I asked Jillian to come with me and of course she did (shes great lol) and we met and had lunch. We then ran into Megan Humble haha I thought she was there for him too but just for lunch lol. But yeah we walked around for a while and then we went to where the stage is and had to stand cause there werent many seats and they were all full already. So then he came out wearing a little suit and a pink tie!!! And Jillian goes, aww hes so small lol. Hes very little if u didnt know, cause i didnt lol. And he spoke for a while about his life and all this stuff like, u can do it, dont let any one tell u u wont be anything yada yada. It was good though.
Well then afterwards I didnt think he'd stay for pics or anything cause he said he had to go. Well we went into a store and come out and everyone is practically mobbing him. So i decided to squeeze myself in and get an autograph lol. People were just holding stuff up to him so thats what I did. It says, Enjoy - Henry. Haha its cute.
I wanted him to say "Heyy!!!" like Fonzie, but he never did :(. But he did talk like him a few times, it made me laugh lol. Fonzie is much more Yankee New Yorker though than Henry really is. You could hear the change in his voice and it was distinct. But yeah, fun stuff lol. 2 famous people in 1 week!!! What a record!

More on the AJ phone call
o yeah since obviously I was thinking about talking to AJ all day and night, I had to call Mackenzie again and get more details lol. Well it turns out she has the best heart ever. She said she went up to him, didnt even ask for an autograph or a picture or anything for herself. She first asked if he'd talk to me on the phone and handed it to him, THEN she got a pic with him. I was like AWWW!!!! Mackenzie bless your soul! Thats the sweetest thing! Well then she after the call, she said something to him along the lines of, you have no idea how much that means to her, shes the biggest fan AND she told him about my i love BSB pages!!!! She was like yeah, she's written I love BSB 100,000 times, and he was like aww thats sweet lol. I was like haha sure, he probably was thinking, man what a freak lol. Yay!!!! Ok, just had to get that out of me, I hadnt screamed yet. So yeah heres the story.
So Mackenzie told me this past weekend that AJ was coming to Belmont to do some sort of concert for some reason, dont know why, didnt care why, he was just there lol. So yeah she calls me like 20 mins ago and just leaves her phone on for like 3 mins while he sang. So I was like YES!!! I got to hear him sing!!!!! She thought of me lol. Well then about 10 mins later she calls me and goes hey, I was like hey babe! thanks for thinking of me lol. And she was like, well, if u wait a minute, i'm gonna put somebody on the phone. And I go, are u kidding me? And she goes, no, dont scream Cortney, dont scream. I was like ooookkkaayyyy, what do I say? And she was like umm...how about hello? So yeah all of a sudden I hear, hey could u say hello to my friend Cortney? And he was like, Cortney? And she said yeah. So then all I hear is, "Hi Cortney!" and I go, "Hi AJ, how are u?" And he was like "I'm fine, how are you?" I was like "I'm good." And he goes, "Well why aren't you up here at the concert tonight?" And I said, "We'll I didn't really know about it, and I had class tonight, so I couldn't come." And he goes, "Well that's a pretty good reason then lol." And I said, "We'll Nashville's about 2 1/2 hours away so it's kinda far, but I usually come to Atlanta to see you perform. But you sounded really good on earlier when I heard you sing." lol. And he goes, "Well, it was good talking to you. Have a good night! Good night SWEETHEART!" and I said, "Thanks, you too! Night!"
I'm pretty sure my life is over and I can die happy. I cant believe I talked to a Backstreet Boy on the phone. I LOVE MACKENZIE! I literally could not breathe when I got off the phone. My heart was little coming out of my chest. Ahhh...need air...

School has begun...boo
So its been like a month since ive updated lol. It just never seemed interesting for me to make an update. But I need to update on my first 2 weeks of school.
So yeah my teacher for Heco 350 is a NUT. Shes INSANE. I already had 1 test in there yesterday and u know what we've learned? NOTHING. Thats because we play musical chairs and do show and tell in class. Grr.
I guess my favorite class if I had to pick one is Heco 340, its Family relationships. It goes by really quick. But Im lost in Statistics, but I have a friend in there from last year's Western Humanities class and she knows how to do it all and Tiffany Norman is in there too and she can do it lol. Oh and Jim Stone is in the class too lol. Its a 100 person class so theres alot of people. Umm..I have 2 night classes, one of which I despise with every fiber of my being. Its Children's Literature. Not because of the class, because of the length of the class. Its 2 1/2 hours and she wont let us out early. Goll i was so antsy in there and thats not usually like me!
Ummm I have my 3 classes with Lauren which is fabulous lol. Tuesday and Thursday is Lauren/Cortney day. The carpooling has worked out well too. Minus the fact that parking blows big chunks at that school. Oh yeah one day we were leaving, I see a ticket on my car and im about to flip out cause I have a permit, and i look, its gone. Nose ring
So I definitely got my nose pierced last night lol. Yay me!
Christin went ahead and got hers done friday, and she stayed with me last night so we went and got mine done! yay!!! My chickeness finally ended after a year lol. Oh and i wasnt nervous at all. I dont know why either. Im usually shakin in my boots about that kind of stuff but i was fine. It didnt hurt really. Christin said it was a 2 on a scale of 1-10 of pain, but id say a 3 1/2 or so. When the needle popped my skin, I let out a soft ahhh. Not too bad. It bled alot though. Still kinda crusty lol.
Oh yeah they pierced it with a straight stud that has a ball on the end, which means is almost impossible or horribly painful to pull through the hole again. Boo. So the piercer said I could come back and they'd cut it off so i could put a new one in in a few weeks. It looks good though. Not as good as Christin's though, I must admit lol. My studs kinda big too. Not real big but ive seen much smaller ones to get. Oh and they make clear ones to put in to hide it too, i'll be wearing those whenever I see my grandparents.
Oh yeah and heres the kicker: my parents havent noticed yet.
