Howdy guys. I got my hair cut today! yay! Me and Jillian's journals will match now lol. I got 4 inches cut off total and then I got some shorter layers in it. I love it. I wanted it this way last time i got it cut when no one could tell. But hey it's cut now so its all good. It curls better too. She always said if I got layers, it would make it light weight and not as heavy as one length which is what I've always had.

Went to the tanning bed yesterday, this is like mine and my mom's 5th visit or so this year. And I went for 10 mins and thats alot for me since im so pale, cause I went 8 mins the first time and then went down the next 2 lol. But anyway i'd been using a rag on my face so i would fry it too death but I wanted some sun on it so i wouldnt be so pale so i didnt use one this time. I looked fine last night but when I woke up i looked like rudolph. Under my eyes it was red but my nose was the worst. It was SO red. But it's almost gone now so it's ok lol. Ok I don't see how people go to the tanning bed and fry themselves the way they do. Me and my mom signed up for 15 visits just so we can get a base for like the whole summer and after this i wont go anymore. I don't care if i get anymore sun during the summer, i feel like im killing myself slowly if im dark brown. Ew. No thanks man, i'd rather be pale.

Well Casey came over but she didnt bring her video camera. Poo. And I had ALL my BSB stuff out. So now it's just sitting in the corner... Oh well, we can do it another time I guess. Well anyway we had the best time! She came over around 4 and we went straight to the mall. I swear we walked that mall 4 times. We parked at Parisians and went in and got a smoothie and then we walked down and went into Aeropostale and they had all those glittery shirts I love so im gonna go back and get some. And then we went in more stores and looked and then we went into Lane Bryant and I tried on some clothes. And then we saw Casey's best friend Jamie. She always talks about her and I was happy to put a face with the name. She's the sweetest thing and is just like Casey in personality lol and shes gorgeous too. I felt real good walking down the mall with 2 gorgeous thin girls (sure) lol. Well then we went everywhere and back again with Jamie. She had just picked up her prom dress and she needed shoes so we went EVERYWHERE. And then we went to this little cart in the middle of the mall that had all this pretty jewelry and hair pieces. It had those curly scrunchies that match ure hair color and they did one on Jamie and they put a little like a half tiara thing in front of that which was pink so it matched her dress and it looked great. They had long hair pieces too. I told Casey thats gonna be my hair one day but its gonna be real instead of fake lol. So then finally we left and both of our feet hurt.

And we went home and ate and we ate ice cream and watched American Idol. And then we talked for a long time. And then we finally went to bed and we got up to rain AGAIN and we went and walked and then we went and ate at Ankars. And then we went and got gas. Ok that was the funniest thing I have seen in a long time. This huge black guy pulled up who was driving a car that was obviously too small for him cause he heaved himself to get out lol but thats besides the point. Well he was in Highschool im guessing cause he had a Tyner football shirt on and had huge muscles, he reminded me of a black Adam haha. Well anyway Casey got in the car and she said he was singing to himself behind her in line and we were smiling and looked at him when he walked out and he noticed us. And he was at his car and he goes, Why yall laughing at me? And Casey goes i'm just smiling lol. And he said something else and she said Signal Mountain and he was like why are u out here and she was like cause im spending the night with my friend. And he was talking to Casey and he goes, you sure are a pretty little thing LOL and she looked down and was like thanks.... lol it was so funny.

I put up my Elvis and Legolas posters finally! YAY! There so pretty! I put Legolas like directly in front of me so I can stare better :). I moved 2 BSB posters down behind my shelf cause I had room if u can believe it lol. Casey goes, u have a balled spot right there and I was like yeah but u cant see the posters. But I put em up there anyway and u can see all 5 of my men's heads behind the shelf so its fine and dandy lol. I'm tired of rain.

Well I had a wreck....sorta

I went to go see Legally Blonde 2 on saturday with my mama! It was SO cute! I loved it! It was crowded for 5:00 too. I dont really have much to say lol. Oh yeah, i started my period on sunday and im leaving with Emmy on Wednesday! And were suppose to swim the whole time! ahhhh i hate being a girl. We go through so much pain. Guys do nothing! They suck :)

Well yes ive had my first car mishap this afternoon. It freaked me out majorly. Don't worry im fine lol. Well let me explain what happened.

Ok so i drove myself to the track and i when i got there i put the top up cause it has been raining all day. So i went and walked and then i get done. So ya know i go to my car and i get in and i turned on the ignition or the battery so to say b/c i was gonna fix my cds and put the top back and all, but i didnt want to turn the motor on cause i didnt wanna waste gas for a few mins.

Well anyway so i'm ready to go and i put my foot on the brake and put the car in reverse cause i was backing up, but instead the car went forward! So i thought ok Cortney u just put the car in drive instead of reverse, but no i checked it several times to make sure it was in reverse and it was. So where i was parked, i was sloped down somewhat and right infront of me was a little ditch.

So i put it in reverse again and it went forward and then i did it one more time and it went forward and i put it in park and then all the sudden i start rolling forward! I went into the ditch and the front of my car hit the pavement, but it didnt do anything to the front or anything or to the rest of my car for that matter. But there's some rubber thing that came off, that i got back. But anyway im in the mudd cause of the rain that doesnt stop and thankfully there were 2 guys there walking too. And one was at his truck which was somewhat over from mine.

So im in the ditch freaking out and he goes "hey are u ok?" and i was like yeah im fine and he was like do u need some help? And of course i said yes cause i was freaked out but then afterwards i realized
1. he was shirtless and he look good shirtless
2. he look good in general

lol so of course all im thinking is CRAP! I havent shaved my legs in over a week, im sweating like im in the desert and my bangs dried parted in half last night so i look somewhat like a boy and my hair is sticking out with sweat and grease and oh yeah i had no make up on. I felt great yeah.

Well anyway since im in the mudd he comes down and he got in and i was explaining what happened and he goes u want me to try and get this out of here for u? And i go yeah. So he got in and before he put his feet in, he was such a sweetie and he goes im sorry im gonna try and not get your car dirty and i was like oh dont worry about that lol, but really i was like awww! ure so sweet! So then he cant just go in reverse cause the hill is a bit too steep and he's stuck in the mudd. So he turns it around and he tries again a couple of times and he got it out! He fixed my car and got it out of the mudd. And i go omgosh how did u do that? He kinda laughed and he was like i dunno lol. So i said thank u a million times and waved bye to him and i started home and freaked out and called my dad on my phone and told him what happened the whole way home and he said it was ok and not to worry and that he'd check it out when he got home. Ahhhhhhhh i was so scurred. My knees were shaking when i got out for the guy to fix it lol.

Well then i told my mom and she freaked out and she was like maybe u shouldnt be driving yet and i was like mom! I've been driving alone for like a month now, one little mishap isnt gonna kill me. But i expected her to freak anyway, but it's all good. Oh but the thing is, after i talked to my dad on the way home, i realized why it went forward and believe me i felt REALLY stupid afterwards. I realized that i hadnt ever turned the motor on. Yeah thats right, anytime u just have the ignition on of course the car is gonna go forward, what else what it do? And i freaked out and i was like my goodness how blonde can i be!?!??! and then i thought ok that guy must of thought i was a complete fool lol. Wow, cant do that anymore now can i? But I did get rescued by my price charming! lol.

I am the boredest person known to man. I have been home alone all day with the cats and a headache ive had since yesterday. I've done nothing. I hugged my dad when he came home cause i was so excited someone was home lol. Casey is suppose to come over tomorrow though and spend the night. Were gonna film my BSB video for MTV! FINALLY! After all this time talking about it im finally gonna make it and send it. I just have to find the address...

But anyway then on Wednesday im getting my haircut and me and mom are going shopping. And then Thursday me and dad are going to Nashville! yay! Well were going to sign for Adam's apartment, but were going to a mall first lol. I was like I wanna go to a mall! And then Friday i'm bored again. Joy. Oh well. I thought I would tell u all how bored I was.

Happy 4th of July!

YAY! IT'S MY FAVORITE HOLIDAY! HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!!!! Today has been great. I got up and we cheated and had pancakes, which were SO good. And then I went and got dressed and I got out all my patriotic tshirts, i have 13. And i thought about changing into one every hour like i did 2 years ago, but i decided not to. But anyway the flag i had bought to go on the back of my car didnt work out too well, it wouldn't stay. So instead, i took it and tied it around the sleeves of my shirt, so it looked like a cape! HAHA! And then i've had my red, white, and blue star lights on all day and i have 3 patriotic dolls that i sat on my bed. And then I have 2 hats. One is one i got from Williamsburg, it's one of those 2 cornered hats, the triangle kind, its my fave. My dad called me Pauletta Revere haha. And then my other one is an Uncle Sam hat. So i put it all on and put ribbon in my hair and i put a flag sticker on my face and went down and showed my parents. They died :) And then I took 2 pics and i'll post em later if yall want. I took one of me in my car too with my attire on lol. And then i've been watching the American Revolution marathon on the history channel all day. Ahhh i love it lol i always look and see if its on and it is all day today! YAY!

Were gonna go see fireworks tonight! YAY! My dad said we might not go cause work can call him, but i said not seeing fireworks on the forth is like not opening gifts on Christmas morning lol. So were gonna go to Cleveland and watch. And we got some of our fireworks too, i wanted some sparklers and we got some smokebombs and bottle rockets. I think were gonna take my car, so i'm gonna sit in the back and hold my flag going down the interstate and let it fly haha. Cant wait.

Everyone show their patriotic spirit and wear red, white, and blue! And please try and remember the true meaning of the holiday people!

We had career day on tuesday. I got all my first choices. I got all my first picks last year too and I was surprised since I was a freshman. Well anyway I put down the Anethesiologist and that guy talked SO much. He kept talking after the bell rang. Well I walked in last into the room cause we got let out late of Bible which is in the MS and I walked into Coach Cole's room last and looked stupid. There was no where to sit! Even the computer chairs were taken! So I kinda stood there with my stuff and I didnt know what to do, so then I saw Emmy and she told me to come sit with her. So I sat in her seat and she sat in my lap. That was a bad, BAD idea. Don't get me wrong, Emmy is not fat and shes not heavy cause I can lift anyone on my legs and back, but she sat on one leg for 30 mins straight. I could barely walk when I got up. I couldn't feel my leg when I was going down the stairs.

So then I went to the Physical Therapist. That was ok, not really my thing. Then I went to the Pediatrician. I didnt like that guy at all. I don't know why I put that down in the first place though. But anyway the guy asked generally who wanted to go into medicine, and people raised their hands and we all put them back down. And then at the end he started randomly calling on people. Just like picking people that he remembered that raised their hands. I was like dude, way to put us all on the spot. I was like praying Lord, please don't let him pick me, please dont pick me. And he didn't. So I was ok. I think i've got some anxiety problems man. I think I might have a case of social anxiety disorder, not kidding.

Well then today was TShirt day. All the sophomores could wear their shirts they got when they got their class ring. I walked in and we got there early today cause we took the interstate cause we wanted to see the new Sonic, it should be opening soon, hopefully this month. But anyway we got there like 10 mins early, and even when I get there 10 till the bell rings, there are usually only 5 people there. So I walk in with my shirt on and I see NO ONE. Everyone that is usually there has their stuff around, but there not there. So I was like oh great, i'm gonna be the only one with this shirt on and look stupid. But then they all came out of the bathroom so i was like shoo, that was a relief cause they all had their shirts on lol.

But anyway there was some mess about Lacie and Christin, not gonna comment on that one cause I don't know the whole story and I heard rumors about it so i'm not gonna open my mouth. All I have to say is that people need to keep their mouths shut when they werent there to see it and they werent involved. If you say/do something at school, everyone knows in 10 mins. It's sad it spreads so quick.

Were finally on Spring Break, thats a relief. What a way to end it though, I had 5 tests today and 2 research papers due. My goodness these teachers are insane. At least I dont have any homework. Mrs. Taylor told us to finish our lab, but I did it in class so I don't have to worry about it. It was the funniest thing, this morning we were pulling into school and my mom goes, wow Taylor is in a hurry to get here isnt she? And I go who? And she goes Mrs. Taylor, she was in that volvo, she was speeding to pull in, she was in a hurry to start Chemistry lol. We watched Pobre Ana in Spanish today too. It was REALLY cheesy, but not as cheesy as Mrs. Jones' outline video, that is # 1 cheese. I didn't know Ana was going half the time cause we've read so many Ana stories in that class. But I liked it cause I could understand her and everyone else cause they talked slow lol. I swear I won't survive if I ever meet someone who is actually spanish and it's their native language. They speak too fast for me to comprehend it! I'm trying to translate in my head as they speak but I can't translate and listen to the word in spanish at the same time. Ahh i'll have to work on it.

Me and dad are going car looking tomorrow! YAY! Were gonna get up and go eat somewhere and go to GA and look for cars, I can't wait! Yay yay yay! Ok me and my mom went to the tanning bed for the first time this year yesterday and I laid for 8 mins and I could see a line when I got out of the bed, but i didnt look burnt. But then this morning I woke up and my back was in pain. I got up and looked and it was red and i have 3 bulbs lines on me that are real thin. Very attractive. But then my bra hurt it all day cause I was so red. Pain.

Hola everyone! I'm over at Spurling's house right now. This is the second night i've spent the night this week lol. I spent Sunday night too.

Well the family reunion went pretty well. Besides the fact that for 30 minutes i sweated in the sun and stood there looking stupid, it was pretty good.

Well anyway it's rained cats and dogs. It has hasnt it? It was awful yesterday. When I came over to Ashley's i got soaked lol. Oh speaking of yesterday, me, mom and adam went shopping yesterday. The only reason Adam went is b/c my mom bribed me haha. Well anyway we went to Khols, Goody's, and Target. That whole strip lol. Well anyway we needed to get Adam some stuff for his apartment in Khols and I freaked out over the junior patriotic shirts, they were the cutest thing EVER! Well the only bummer was that if i liked a certain shirt alot, they wouldnt have my size. Isn't that always how it works? Well anyway i got 2 cause they were 5.00$ each, i got one that has a coffee kettle on it and it says like America's best cup of joe or something, it's patriotic lol. And then the other one has some stuff written in red and glitter. So as we were leaving, theres a British woman who works there and has a strong accent and my mom asked if she was working on the 4th and she goes oh no, thats the day there gonna keep the Brits out. HAHA. I cracked up when she said that!
Oh yeah, i also bought a big American flag and i'm gonna tie it to the back of my car once it stops raining lol.

Well then at Goody's i got the last purse that i had wanted, yay. And at Target I went in and got a game for vacation with Emmy and it's gonna be her early bday present from me since it's this month. She's gonna love it.

Well then i came over here at like 5:30 last night and her mom was like Cortney's spending the night isnt she? And Ashley was like no, and she said well she needs to stay cause of the rain lol. So i called my mom and she came and brought me my stuff lol. Well anyway i'm gonna scoot my boot! Only 2 more days till the 4th! YAY!

haha i just finished washing off my war paint lol. That's what my dad calls it lol and then he'll say we attack at down lol. I always crack up when he says that :)

Well i didnt get back from Ashley's till 7:15! We went to the mall at 1:30 and ate lunch and then her mom wasnt coming to get us till 4! But she didnt get there till almost 5. But anyway we had fun. We went to Victoria Secret and she got some makeup and i'm obsessed with a scent there that im gonna go back and get tomorrow. But anyway she got some new eye shadows and the woman that worked there helped us and Ashley loved how she put on her eyeshadow and made her show her how lol. So we went home and she practiced on me lol. And usually i only wear eye shadow on my lid, but she put it on my browbone too and it looked AWESOME. I mean she used like 3 diff colors of brown and some white stuff as like frost and some glitter and it looked like movie star make up lol. And she couldnt believe how good it looked and she was ecstatic and then she did my blush and lipstick too. If i dont wanna get my makeup done for jr/sr then i'm gonna get her to do it lol.

I put my flag on my car that i bought. It looks pretty good but u cant see the blue unless u look on top somewhat. I attached it with bungee cords too lol. I hope it doesnt fall off lol.
